dad, i'm scared

Yesterday we took the family to go see "Prince Caspian".

When we got home the kids went straight to bed. I took the dog for her walk right away and when I came back in I went into the kids room to say "good night" to them. Upon entering Nic's room, I saw that he was worried about something. I asked him about it and he said, "Well, um, I'm just scared."

"Why? What are you scared of?"

"Well, there were some things in the movie that were scary."

I consoled him, saying, "Oh, son, don't worry. Just remember: the movie was only make believe. Nothing that happened in it could happen in real life."

"Yeah, okay. It's just that, it scared me when the woman was having a baby."

Uh...yeah. That part was real. I had no reply.
