guilt, grace and hope

Guilt and grace cannot co-exist. To know you are in Christ is to know you are safe. To know Christ is in you is to have a heart made holy.

“There is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.”

“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?” No one and no thing.

Jesus made a sacrifice for sins once for all. There is no need to rehash over and over again the failures of the past. Because of his grace, there is no occasion for guilt, no time suited for “if only”.

The past is forgiven, the present is free and the future is radiant. This is hope, real hope. Because forgiveness emanates from the Eternal One, he sees you as you cannot see yourself yet: forgiven and perfect, truly perfected. This is your true identity. To live in hope is to live in that future grace; doing so brings the not yet into the now. When the heart calls heaven, the spirit kisses the End of Days and there is no shame.
